SOCIAL SECURITY LAW

The articles and studies that make up this section derive from the following sources, firstly, from the papers presented by Dr. CARLOS HERNÁNDEZCONTRERAS in different national and international congresses and seminars, since the 1990’s, when the regime of Law 1896 of 1948, on Social Security, was in force in the Dominican Republic; secondly, from the experience of Dr. CARLOS HERNÁNDEZCONTRERAS as Legal Advisor of the National Social Security Council, during the period 2002-2004, when the Dominican Social Security System (SDSS), instituted with Law 87-01, was established, and during which all the complementary regulations of said SDSS were forged; and thirdly, the lectures of the subject «Social Security Law», taught for the first time in the country, at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), Santo Tomás de Aquino campus.

This section of the Blog is inaugurated with the first work on Social Security Law, published in the Dominican Republic after Law 87-01, Nociones Básicas Sistema Dominicano Seguridad Social. Estudio de la Ley 87-01, Basic notions of the Dominican social security system. Study of Law 87-01, authored by Dr. CARLOS HERNÁNDEZCONTRERAS.

Subsequently, the following works or articles published by Dr. CARLOS HERNÁNDEZCONTRERAS, chronologically, between 1991 and 2020, will appear in this section of the Blog. Among all these articles and studies, some of them have an old publication date, while those referring to the chairs of «Social Security Law» at the PCMNM are unpublished:

DERECHO DE LA SEGURIDAD SOCIAL

Los artículos y estudios que integran esta sección derivan de las siguientes fuentes, en primer lugar, de las ponencias presentadas por el doctor CARLOS HERNÁNDEZCONTRERAS en distintos congresos y seminarios nacionales e internacionales, desde los años 1990, época en se encontraba vigente en República Dominicana el régimen de la Ley 1896 de 1948, sobre Seguros Sociales; en segundo lugar, de la experiencia del doctor CARLOS HERNÁNDEZCONTRERAS como Asesor Legal del Consejo Nacional de Seguridad Social, durante el período 2002-2004, momentum en el que se cimentó el Sistema Dominicano de Seguridad Social (SDSS), instituido con la Ley 87-01, y período en el que se fraguó toda la reglamentación complementaria de dicho SDSS; y en tercer lugar de las cátedras de la asignatura “Derecho de la Seguridad Social”, impartidas por primera vez en el país, en la Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), recinto Santo Tomás de Aquino.

Esta sección del Blog se inaugura con la primera obra de Derecho de la Seguridad Social, publicada en República Dominicana a partir de la Ley 87-01, Nociones Básicas Sistema Dominicano Seguridad Social. Estudio de la Ley 87-01, autoría del doctor CARLOS HERNÁNDEZCONTRERAS.

Posteriormente, irán apareciendo en esta sección del Blog, las siguientes obras o artículos publicados por el doctor CARLOS HERNÁNDEZCONTRERAS cronológicamente, entre 1991 y 2020. Entre todos esos artículos y estudios, una parte posee una vieja data de publicación, mientras que los que se refieren a las cátedras de “Derecho de la Seguridad Social” en la PCMNM, son inéditos:
